The "8th International School on Production of Biologicals" is the seventh edition of an intensive training course that has been periodically organized at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro since 2004.
The event will be held at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Ilha do Fundao campus, at the Auditorium of COPPE/UFRJ (CT2/CGTEC).

The 8th International School on Production of Biologicals will address important technical aspects as well as regulatory and market issues regarding this quickly growing area of Biotechnology. From the past editions of the event, we know that it is usually appreciated by both beginners and experienced people interested in Pharmaceutical Biotechnology. Considering the past seven editions, this intensive course has already congregated approximately 900 people from all continents.
The event will consist of a one-week series of lectures and discussions of case studies, congregating invited speakers from over 10 different countries. It is designed for those who have a degree in Bioprocess Engineering, Biotechnology, Biomedical Sciences, Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry and related areas.

IMPORTANT: Undergraduate and MSc students must necessarily present their proof of status (university enrollment or official scholarship proof) on 1st day of event to receive badge/bag and to have access to the event. The lack of a valid proof of status will make registration null or turn necessary the payment of the difference to the value of a non-academic registration.
